Mad Hatter Challenge for Woodware.
This is my effort for the Woodware blog challenge. The lovely Dorriedoodles asked me for a theme and the first thing that came to mind was “Mad Hatters” – read what you will into that!
I have been intending to make a top hat for some time and this finally spurred me on to get on with it.
It is a miniature size, only 5cm tall and 5.5cm wide.
I have used Clearly for Art moldable film to shape the brim and attached some 7 Gypsies decorative paper to that. The crown is made using card covered with paper and the top of the hat was made with a circle punch.
I inked all the edges with ColorBox black Crafters ink.
I have added some 7mm black ribbon, a feather and some cogs and clock face charms. I have also sprinkled on some Frantage Aged Spice embossing enamel.
I love it, and really I don't use Clearly for Art enough it is a great product! Thank you for a challenging challenge. x
